To all Metro Users:

The Board of directors would like to thank everyone who attended and contributed to the success of the 40th Annual Metro Users Group Conference in Costa Mesa CA. While the attendance was down a little, the exchange of information continued to be invaluable. Goss International was represented by 40 company leaders, electrical and mechanical engineers, and field services technicians answering questions and leading training seminars. There was much conversation about improving the runability and quality of our products while being faced with lighter newsprint and narrower web widths. A process used to dramatically improve your rolls per break was reviewed by the Cleveland Plain Dealer team. Press cut downs (all the way to 44"), rebuilds, and reliability were also hot topics. We have posted some of the presentations here for you to review. Representatives and displays from 75 companies that supply the printing industry with innovative products and services also joined us.

Once again your Board of Directors will evaluate this conference and industry issues and make improvements to bring you an even better meeting in Fort Worth in 2009. We will keep you posted with any changes.
