It is time to plan for the 39th annual Metro Users Group Conference. The conference will be held from Saturday, February 17
through Wednesday, February 21, 2007 at the Wyndham Orlando Resort.
The success of the conference depends on participation from all the Metro Users. Your contribution on cost saving ideas,
revenue-enhancing opportunities, 48” web width conversions and improved maintenance procedures has/will certainly pay
dividends. The Metro Users Group will continue to provide the best networking and information gathering opportunities
necessary to keep your Goss equipment running. New this year will be Goss Training Sessions being held on Sunday afternoon.
Goss experts will be in attendance to discuss your concerns, answer your questions, and give advice. Focus will be on unit
and folder rebuilds, troubleshooting techniques, and productivity improvement. These sessions will replace the plant tour.
We strongly urge you to book your room at the Wyndham Orlando Resort under the Metro Users Group Room Block. Early
registration, by January 31, 2007, will make it easier for us to accommodate everyone. We will order a shirt for those who
pre-register and will only order a very limited amount of additional shirts to have on hand for those who register at the
conference. The deadline for making your room reservation is January 26, 2007.

Please make your own room reservation by filling out the enclosed form or by contacting the Wyndham Orlando Resort at:
1-800-421-8001. We have a group rate starting at $154.00, single or double occupancy. The cut-off date for the MUG room
block and this rate is January 26, 2007. After that date the rooms can be released for general sale at the prevailing resort rate.

- Monday, February 19, 2007 Opening General Session Metro User's Presentation & Goss Update
- Tuesday, February 20, 2007 Breakout Sessions for all types of presses.
- Wednesday, February 21, 2007 Technical Seminars (morning) Quality Improvement, Press Upgrades, CTP Violet vs Thermal, 48” and Beyond.
If you have failed to mail your annual dues for your newspaper ($125.00) this must be included with the conference registration
fee. The cost for registration is $150.00 per delegate and must be received by January 31, 2007. Registration at the conference
will be $175.00. Please send or fax the attached invoice with your check or credit card information as soon as possible Golf
Tournament: The golf tournament is being held at Eagle Creek Golf Club Saturday, February 17, 2007. This is a very distinctive
golf course with European flair. It is an Audubon International Silver Signature Course. Check it out at www.eaglecreekgolf.info.
There will be a light breakfast served with plenty of refreshments available during the exciting day of golf. Lunch will be served
after your round. Please fill out and mail the enclosed entry form if you plan on participating in the event. Registration for golf will
be limited to a first come basis. There are a limited number of spots. Individuals will be responsible for renting clubs. We have
filled up every year, so don't be left out-register now. Send completed golf registration form to Larry Appleby.
